Home-based PT allows your therapist to assess your actual living environment, identify fall hazards, and design exercises specifically for your home setup — leading to better outcomes than clinic-based therapy for homebound patients.
Physical therapy is a covered skilled service under Medicare Part A home health benefit. Patients must be homebound and have a physician order for services.
